The information (when given) is used on our website in order to help connect people wanting to find an item.
Your email address is used to contact you regarding your listings, to alert you if you set up email alerts, to send you messages from potential buyers, and to let you know of site changes, promotions or other relevant information.
We take privacy very seriously. When you register to use this website your information will NEVER be sold, leased or given to any third parties. We will never use it for any reasons except to respond to your inquiries. The software will however send automatic emails to inform you of various things such as ad expiration etc.
When providing information such as email addresses or phone numbers to payment processors like Stripe or PayPal your information is sent only to them and you should check with their policies on their respective websites for data use policies.
If you contact us for any reason, your personal information will never be used by us for any purpose other than answering your questions or responding to requests, and it will not be sold, leased or given to any other parties.
If someone contacts you for a listing you posted via the form on this website and if you choose to respond to their request by email, your email address will be revealed as it would in any normal email message.
If you leave a review, the review and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
If you choose to input your social media links, they are publicly accessible on 9 Bears in your public profile.
When you are logged into your account, you can choose to use links we provide to easily share an ad listing on your Facebook or Twitter account. You accept full responsibility for your actions when sharing ads.
If you choose to list ads, your listing or business address may be displayed on a map in your ads via Google Maps, hence transferred to Google in order for the map service to work. See Google’s privacy page for more info: https://policies.google.com/privacy
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
